As the founder of Crown Ascent Consulting, Courtney Watson set out to build more than a consulting firm. He set out to become a trusted partner for business owners who need clarity, structure, and a deeper understanding of how their business actually performs.
After nearly a decade in corporate investment accounting, Courtney saw a consistent gap. Growing businesses were generating revenue, but lacked clear visibility into their numbers. Reports existed, but they weren’t being used to guide decisions.
He recognized that real growth doesn’t come from more reports. It comes from understanding how the business makes money, where it loses it, and how financial decisions impact performance.
That realization led to the creation of Crown Ascent, a firm focused on helping businesses turn financial data into a system for decision-making.
Today, Courtney combines his corporate accounting background with a strategic, systems-driven approach to help clients gain clarity on their margins, performance, and growth. His work is centered on one outcome: helping business owners move from reacting to numbers to operating with clear, informed direction.
